 Molly Schaeffer is a Portland-based artist and writer. A founding editor of the journal  Big Big Wednesday , she graduated from Bard College with a degree in creative writing. Molly is interested in the intersections of language, textiles, and drawing, and makes art that merges these disciplines. Her work has been published in a number of books and publications, including illustrations for Sarah Mirk’s  Sex from Scratch  and Leslie Allison’s  Martha . Her poetry has been published in Weekday Journal, the Burnside Review, and Bearings. She recently contributed a zine,  Years Old , to “Connections,” part of ALLGOLD’S residency at the MoMA PS1 Printshop, and she will be a resident at Have Company in Grand Rapids, MI in early 2016.  Her drawings have recently been up at Bluebeard Coffee Roasters in Tacoma and the Fresh Pot in Portland.
