Anne de Marcken is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in text and moving image. Her credits include multimedia installations, short and feature-length films and videos, algorithm-based narratives, interactive web environments, short stories, poetry, and screenplays. Her writing has been featured on NPR’s Selected Shorts and in such publications as Best New American Voices, Glimmer Train, Hunger Mountain and Southern Indiana Review. She has received grant and fellowship support from the Jentel Foundation, Centrum, ArtistTrust and the Hafer Family Foundation. She currently is a visiting professor at The Evergreen State College.
